These Times are Changing Me.

These Times are Changing Me and It’s Shaking My Ground

I’m told it’s time to let go, to make space to receive.

It’s like I am moving in the dark, blindfolded, feeling my way.

Uncertain how this will all play out.

What life will look like, who will I be?

Life assures me to hold steady as there is no turning back.

To release the need to know or to think my way through.

It asks me to explore what it feels like to come back to presence.

To touch into the wisdom found in the seat of my own heart.

To remember the importance of moving slowly, the simple breath, rest.

So this time of transition can deliver me feeling clean and crystal clear.

And I can move through life from a place that feels honest, loving and real,

Releasing myself from the weight of obligation and comparison.

So what can I do that will support my way forward?

That will tend to life’s bruises and heal my heart’s wounds?

To show up on my cushion with tenderness and care.

To hold my heart daily and reassure her everything will be ok.

To honour the sacredness of endings,

And the joy of new beginnings.

To fortify my faith in all that I am

And deepen my trust in life’s ever-changing flow.
