Feel the Joy!

I recently came across a small wattle bush with beautiful red flowers in the beautiful Maranoa Gardens in Balwyn, Melbourne, Australia. I had no idea that wattle came in this colour and seeing the flowers brought me such JOY.
As I admired the flowers, I received an intuitive message ‘… new beginnings with a joyful heart.’
Joy is such an under-rated emotion in our modern society, particularly as we like to think – a lot!
We spend much of our day looking for those logical, sensible responses to the moment which is perfect when we have to drive a car or find the right clothes to suit the weather.
But all this time spent in our thinking, rational brain disconnects us from our creative, playful and joyful self.
We cannot ‘think’ our way to joy. It is something that is felt in the body.
Joy can be felt spontaneously. A beautiful sunrise. Children’s laughter. Your favourite song on the radio.
But most of the time, joy is a choice. We choose to experience joy in our day.
And when we choose joy and it opens us up beyond the limitations of our logical mind to discover more enriching, inspiring and creative experiences.
Joy enables our expansive, intuitive self to be felt and expressed. It raises our vibration and changes the signals we send out into the world.
